WINE FACTS:
The grapes are left to dry beyond the harvest time on the vines in order to concentrate all the aromas and components in the fruit. Harvest is done manually to select the best healthiest grapes in the vineyards. Part of the blend is vinified under controlled temperature in stainless steel vats to obtain freshness and fruity notes of the varietals. The other part of the bled, after maceration, is vinified in new oak barriques for about 4 months, resulting in a warm, well-structured, oaky wine with smooth tannins.
This is a well-balanced Sicilian Rosso blend wine with a deep purple-red color. There is a very pleasant fruity nose with hints of plum, cherry, and chocolate. Full-bodied, it has a supple finish with soft tannins and oak. Rich, new world style intensifies the more time left open.
FOOD PAIRING:
7 Sicilains pairs well with lasagna, pasta, grilled meat, and seasoned cheese. Or simply on its own.
